GameChangers Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead projects, mentor teams, and contribute to the strategic development of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Oversee all aspects of assigned civil engineering projects, ensuring successful execution.
🔹 Manage and mentor a team of 3 to 6 engineers, guiding Project Managers in leadership and development.
🔹 Assist in developing and implementing civil engineering department standards to enhance project efficiency.
🔹 Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for new and existing team members.
🔹 Review project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
🔹 Lead quality control and assurance (QC/QA) reviews for preliminary, permit, and construction phases.
🔹 Coordinate with architects, geotechnical engineers, and structural engineers to streamline design integration.
🔹 Conduct site visits/inspections and train junior engineers to perform independent evaluations.
🔹 Prepare billing invoices, project proposals, and scope adjustments.
🔹 Lead the development of Site Development Plans, including grading, drainage, stormwater quality, and utility layouts.
Qualifications & Skills:
✔ 10+ years of experience in site development and design.
✔ 6+ years of project management experience in civil engineering.
✔ California Professional Engineering (PE) License (Required).
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
✔ Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD (corridors, pipe networks, etc.).
✔ Experience with engineering software (e.g., HydroCAD, WaterCAD, AutoTurn).
✔ Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for team development.
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects and foster a collaborative work culture.
✔ Excellent client relations and communication skills.
